Barry Smith - Chairman

The Chairperson plays an important role as leader and figurehead in the organisation and in the conduct of Branch affairs, in Branch meetings and in all matters relating to the Branch's public image. He/she should set and maintain a course that achieves the declared objectives of the BSAC and of the Branch, as defined in its Byelaws
Barry Smith is an Advanced Diver, an Open Water Instructor - OWI5501 and has been diving since 1978. He is also one on the founding members of Chillington Divers

Keith Taylor - President

The president of the club is an ambassador of the club oppointed by the club’s committee and represents the club at functions where other Officers are unavailable. They are a person that should meet all potential new members to the club and guide them through the evening.
Keith Taylor is an Advanced Diver and Open Water Instructor - OWI5588 and has been with the club since 1997.

Doug Jordan - Secretary

The Branch Secretary is responsible for ensuring an efficient level of communication between Branch Committee and membership; and between the Branch and BSAC Headquarters. They have responsibility for organising, in consultation with the Chairperson, Committee Meetings and the Branch's General Meetings, taking Minutes at these meetings and for publishing and circulating those to appropriate members.
Doug Jordan is an Advanced Diver, an Assistant Instructor. He has been with the club since it was formed.

Sara Robottom - Membership Secretary

Responsible for the collection of membership monies due to the branch and to BSAC. They assist in the establishment of the club’s database and advise the Training Officer of new members.
Sara Robottom is and Advanced Diver and Open Water Instructor - OWI5074 and has been with the club since 1998.

Robert Taylor - Treasurer

Branch Treasurer should have some experience of financial accounting. A Branch will derive the income it needs for its operations from the Branch portion of the total subscription. These funds are used for the day to day running of the Branch, for such regular expenses as pool and meeting room hire. Robert is a Dive Leader and a Snorkel Instructor - SI6621

Derek Lum - Diving Officer

The National Diving Officer has ultimate responsibility for training, testing and the award of BSAC diving qualifications. The National Diving Officer has delegated much of this responsibility to Branch Diving Officers, who (if appropriately qualified) are thus empowered to award Ocean Diver, Sports Diver, Dive Leader and Advanced Diver qualifications to members within their own Branch. A Branch Diving Officer should hold at least the qualification of BSAC Advanced Diver and ideally be a BSAC Nationally Qualified Instructor.
Derek Lum is a BSAC First Class Diver and Advanced Instructor - AI3398, IANTD Technical Cave Diver, TDI Advanced Trimix and TDI Advanced Gas Blender. He is also a BSAC Extended Range Diving Instructor and BSAC Advanced Nitrox Instructor and a Diver Medic. He has been with the club since 1996.

Martin Hammond - Training Officer

They are responsible to the Branch Diving Officer for the all Snorkel & Diver training done by the branch. They will organise both pool practical sessions and outside dives where training of members will take place. They will organise theory sessions for both Snorkel and Scuba training and also skill development course in line with the BSAC syllabus. They will also keep all instructors up to date with new updates form the BSAC
Martin Hammond is an Advanced Diver, Advanced Instructor - AI3449, and Trainee Instructor trainer, Open Water Snorkel Instructor Trainer, Corporate Snorkel Instructor Trainer, Area Coach and Club Mark Mentor and was one of the founding members of the branch.

George Turner - Equipment Officer

Responsibilities involve:
- Advising the Branch committee through the Branch Diving Committee (if there is one) on matters concerning the purchase and insurance of Branch equipment.
Providing for safe and secure storage of equipment.
- Arranging for equipment allocation and for its return to store; and in some cases if it is Branch policy, to be responsible for its transportation to/from the place of use.
- Maintenance of all equipment and the keeping of relevant records

George Turner is a Sports Diver and has been with the branch since 1998.

Antony Gouldstone - Website Developer

Responsible for the design. maintenance and general upkeep of the website and club email system. Antony also holds the position as chief moderator for the club forum and advisor on both technical and legal ICT issues for the club.
Antony Gouldstone is an Ocean Diver and has been with the club since 2004

Malcolm Haire - Social Secretary

Responsible for organising various social events throughout the year for all club members.
Malcolm Haire is a Sports Diver and has been with the club since 2006.
